Most have not understood that Pslam 2 is first of the Messianic Psalms; the prelude to Revelation 13-19. Psalm 2 begins with “Why Do The “Heathen Rage|Sea Beast Earth Beast” and the people imagine a vain thing? Acts 4:25-26. The narrative goes on to explicitly speak of Kings of Earth and Rulers taking counsel together against the Lord and against His anointed, saying… let us break their bands and cast their cords. It states God laughs… </br>The 2nd Psalm gives the order of the Establishment of the Kingdom; in 6 parts.

  1. The rage of the Gentiles, the vain imagination of the people and antagonism of rulers against; Jehovah’s Anointed
  2. The derision of Jehovah that men should suppose it possible to set aside His Covenant
  3. The vexation fulfilled first in the destruction of Jerusalem, A.D. 70 and in final dispersion of the Jews, fulfilled more completely in the Tribulation; the Holocaust… which precedes the return of the King.
  4. The establishment of the rejected King on Zion
  5. The subjection of the Earth to the King’s Rule
  6.  The present appeal to world powers

Psalm 2; 8; 16; 22; 23; 24; 40; 41; 45; 68; 69; 72; 89; 102; 110; 118; are classified as Messianic… all refer to Christ Anointed
